Introducing the Manage My Data Portal

We've launched a dedicated Manage My Data portal at https://privacyrights.unclebbq.com — a secure, self-serve hub where you can:

Request a copy of your data — see exactly what we hold on your account, including your order history, rewards balance, and marketing preferences
Delete your account permanently — remove all of your personal data from our systems, on your schedule, with no hoops to jump through

No forms to mail. No waiting for a customer service callback. Just a secure, verified flow that takes a few minutes.

How It Works

Email Me My Data

Sign in to your Uncle J's account
Visit https://privacyrights.unclebbq.com
Choose "Email me my data"
Verify your identity — we'll confirm with a code sent to your email (and phone, if you have one linked)
We'll send a full personal data summary to your email address right away

The summary includes your account details, Pitmaster Rewards history, recent order history, and your marketing preferences. What it won't include: your payment details (we never store those — Stripe handles payments), passwords, or location data.

Delete My Account

Sign in and visit https://privacyrights.unclebbq.com
Choose "Delete my account"
Complete identity verification (email code + account password)
Review the deletion summary — we will show you exactly what will be removed
Confirm, and your account and all associated data are permanently deleted

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Your rewards points, order history, and all personal data are wiped from our systems.

Why We Built This

Privacy regulations like the Illinois BIPA, and broader consumer privacy standards, give you the right to access and delete the data businesses hold about you. We think that is the right call — and we want to make it easy, not something you have to fight for.

We also believe in transparency. The data summary you receive will show you exactly what we collect and what we do not. You might be surprised by how little it is.

What Data We Hold
